The Director of the National Community Foundation, Juliana Alfred has made a public plea for the return of stolen office items. The incident has caused a major setback for the non profit organization, which focuses on a number of programs that assist the less fortunate and underprivileged in St Lucia. Among the stolen items were a laptop computer, and an undisclosed sum of cash. She believes that an individual or individuals must have forced their way in some time last night or during the early morning hours of Thursday. Ms.Alfred has also urged individuals not to purchase any item which they suspect is stolen. Anyone with information regarding the break in has been asked to contact local police. Police are actively pursuing the matter. |
