Police are searching for a man who was involved in a serious accident Tuesday. About 10:45 pm, Gros Islet Police responded to a serious accident which occurred at Top of the World, Marisule. Motor car registration number PA 7986 driven by 25 year old Tadashi Montoute of Agard was travelling in a northerly direction when it came into contact with another vehicle that was travelling in the opposite direction. The identity of the driver, the lone occupant, has not been ascertained, since he fled the scene. PA 7986 sustained extensive damage while the other vehicle, whose registration number is unknown, was completely destroyed by fire. Preliminary investigations suggest that the make of the vehicle is a Lexus, blue in color. Tadashi Montoute of Agard, Miguel John of Carielle and Kimal Walter of Agard all sustained injuries. They were treated and admitted at Victoria Hospital. Also on Tuesday, about 8:45 pm, Officers attached to the Micoud Police Station responded to the report of a serious vehicular accident which occurred along the Micoud Highway. Information received indicates that motor car registration number 3291 driven by Dishal Bhallal of Beanfield, Vieux fort was travelling along the said road in a southerly direction when he came into contact with 23 year old Persitta Evans of Micoud. Evans was transported to St. Jude’s Hospital via ambulance. She was treated and admitted in a serious but stable condition. |
